ILO(International Labor Organization)
Funded by the United nations Peace Building Fund for Nepal (UNPBFN), the “Jobs for peace”(Jfp)project is being jointly implemented by the ILO and FAO in two terai districts, Parsa and Rautahat. The project targets the creation of farm and off farm economic and employment opportunities for 12500 young women and men women .A component of one of the seven target outputs of the project (output#2)implemented by the ILo is dedicated to assisting upto 600 young men and women from the target districts to acquire vocational skills that will enable them to secure productive employment
(mostly)and/or and self employment .with the process of selecting vocational Training service providers for the initiative complete (expressions of interest, short –listing /screening , selection and ILO technical backstop inputs ), the ILO is proceeding to the next stage which is contracting of service providers for identification of training beneficiaries and training delivery.
